Beyond the Debate: Climate Change as an Economic Opportunity for Africa Date: March 25, 2018 in Kigali, Rwanda
NOTE: Authors of accepted papers (one author per paper) will be invited to participate to the Next Einstein Forum Global Gathering (Kigali, March 24-29, 2018). All expenses (travel, accommodation, registration) will be covered.
Africa will be one of the continents most affected by the impacts of climate change. According to the recent report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), these potential impacts include the following: (1) increases in temperature by 2100, particularly in southern Africa; (2) decreases in precipitation, by more than 20% compared to the levels observed 20 years ago;

- President (to serve 2018-22)

- Ordinary Member (8 positions, to serve 2018-20)
Nominations will be considered for election at the 31st CODATA General Assembly, which will take place on 26-27 October 2018 in Gaborone, Botswana, following International Data Week 2018.
