SMTP<\/td>\n Mail relay service for members connected to the i RENALA network, whether or not hosting their SMTP servers in their institution.<\/td>\n <\/tr>\n
Antivirus & Antispam<\/td>\n i RENALA offers to its members an anti-virus and anti-spam service for e-mail exchanges (incoming and outgoing). This allows to avoid paying the license for other anti-spam and anti-virus software.<\/td>\n <\/tr>\n
DNS<\/td>\n i RENALA provides its members with domain names in “.edu.mg” format on request. i RENALA can also handle the domain name of member institutions (univ-xxx.mg).<\/td>\n <\/tr>\n
Cache DNS
(resolver)<\/td>\n 		This service was made available in order to accelerate the access to Internet at the level of the member institutions. Indeed, the fact of having a DNS cache server locally on the network i RENALA keeps the DNS requests internally instead of going out of the network, which improves the speed of opening web pages.<\/td>\n <\/tr>\n
\"Monitoring\"<\/a><\/td>\n The supervision allows the member institution to monitor:\n

  • the link connecting it to the i RENALA network ;<\/li>\n
  • the use of its bandwidth.<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <\/td>\n <\/tr>\n <\/tbody>\n <\/table>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    • Send a letter jointly signed by the head of the member institution and its Network manager to the Acting President of the CAT<\/em><\/li>\n
