The Geometry, Analysis and Applications (G2A) EMA School was held at the Alioune Diop University in Bambey (Senegal) from October 23 to November 3, under the coordination of Professors Abdoul Salam Diallo and Mouhamadou Ngom.
This first edition of the EMA school was a success both scientifically and socially. It fully achieved its objective of promoting the development of geometry and analysis in Senegal and French-speaking sub-Saharan Africa. There was a wide range of participants, mainly young lecturers and doctoral students from various target countries.
The event fostered fruitful exchanges and in-depth discussions on subjects ranging from pure mathematics to applied fields.

L'école EMA "Geometry, Analysis and Applications (G2A)" s'est déroulée à l'université Alioune Diop de Bambey (Sénégal) du 23 octobre au 3 novembre, sous la coordination des professeurs Abdoul Salam Diallo et Mouhamadou Ngom.
Cette première édition de l'école EMA a été un succès tant sur le plan scientifique que social. Elle a parfaitement atteint son objectif de promouvoir le développement de la géométrie et de l'analyse au Sénégal et en Afrique sub-saharienne francophone. La participation était diversifiée, regroupant principalement de jeunes enseignantes et enseignants-chercheurs et des doctorantes et doctorants venant de différents pays ciblés.
L'événement a favorisé des échanges fructueux et des discussions approfondies sur des sujets allant des mathématiques pures aux domaines appliqués.
