The Malagasy NREN network, i RENALA, a national research and higher education network that manages network infrastructure for our national research centers and educational institutions, has been a member of the Eastern and Southern African Regional Research and Education Network (UbuntuNet Alliance of Research and Education Network) since 2015. Each year, a meeting is organized to best improve the network in each member country. This time, i RENALA was able to participate in this meeting, which took place in Lusaka, Zambia, hosted by the Zambia Research and Education Network (ZAMREN).

UbuntuNet Alliance NREN CEOs met at the new headquarters of ZAMREN, Zambia’s NREN, to consolidate coordination between the various national networks and ensure a coherent vision of digital development for research and education in Africa.
